All You Need Is Love … And a Sister

It sounds so small, and this act of kindness may feel insignificant to some, but it really meant a lot to me.

"Too often, small acts of kindness go overlooked in the media. In celebration of the holiday season and in partnership with @up_tv and @aspiretv I want to share an uplifting story with you!

Recently, my service dog was due for his annual check-up, but this time, I wanted to try a new vet. I was nervous about the amount of paperwork that would come my way. Not because it’s tedious or boring, but because my dyslexia and dysgraphia make it challenging to fill out paper forms without assistance.

My younger sister, Kassie heard me talking about this and came to my house after she finished work to ride with me to the new vet clinic. She promised to read and help me fill out any paperwork involved.

It sounds so small, and this act of kindness may feel insignificant to some, but it really meant a lot to me. I am always thankful to anyone who will take the time out of their day to help me complete a challenging task because of my condition!" -
