“#UPliftSomeone: Little acts of kindness can make the day so much better, don’t you agree? As many of you know my sweet grandmother has been battling cancer for the past year. While visiting her last week, my youngest child not only wanted to bring his favorite candy to share with her but crawled into her lap to “read her a book.” It warmed my heart to see the smile that it brought to her face during a very hard season for her. It was a great reminder to me what a gift it is to bring joy and a smile to someone else’s life and how it doesn’t have to take a lot of energy or money to do so.
